Whew!
I got an email from Tamiko this morning letting me know that all my letters to her class made it! Yes! Yesterday was their last day of school and they were being dismissed at 1:05... my big envelope full of replies to their letters and a beaded animal for each of them was received at 12:15. Thank you international mail!

Whew is right! They loved their letters, and a couple of parents there for the end of the year party thought it was great that their child was learning about and corresponding with someone in South Africa! They say that James comes home telling them what he learned from your letters! :)
I love everything about this.
Tamiko, you and your students are such good penpals (and people in general). I know that Megan, being the AMAZING pen pal (and person) she is, reallllly loved the whole experience with you guys :)
